Equicushion is a natural seasoned wood fibre product, manufactured to a high technical specification. It is virtually dust-free and can be used in all weather conditions. Equicushion has been developed, proven and supplied to top professionals throughout the UK .
Equicushion is very different from other wood surfacing products. Live chips from freshly felled and chipped trees will contain sap, acids and bark, which will cause a rapid breakdown of material. In contrast, Equicushion is a mature, seasoned, clean wood and therefore dry of sap. The surface contains no bark, allowing it a considerably longer life. Equicushion is shredded rather than chipped, allowing the surface to lock together and provide a much improved riding surface to traditional wood chip products.
Equicushion is easy to install, is versatile and can even be used on top of existing surfaces to improve current facilities.
Equicushion provides a soft, springy ride for horses, making it ideal for use in arena and gallop applications. Its reliability makes it the perfect choice for riders who wish to keep their surfaces in excellent condition and fully operational all year round.
